How PackTrack works

Three steps: import, review and export. You submit the report yourself in your producer organisation's system.

Ready in three steps

1

Import your data

Upload purchase invoices or a product list as CSV, Excel or text-based PDF. The sample file shows the columns.

2

Review materials and kilograms

PackTrack suggests a material for each row. You review and correct the rows; kilograms are calculated from quantities and unit weights.

3

Download the report preparation file

You get an Excel or CSV file with materials, kilograms and a row breakdown. You submit the report yourself in the Rinki extranet. The file is shaped for the Rinki report.

1. Import

PackTrack reads CSV and Excel files and text-based PDF invoices. The most useful columns are product code, description, quantity and unit weight in grams. For 2026 data, add the reporting period or a date too. The upload page lists every recognised column and has a sample file.

2. Review

Every row gets a material suggestion based on its description and notes; uncertain rows are listed separately. You correct the material, kilograms, consumer or business packaging and the 2026 period. Changes are recorded in the audit log.

3. Export

The preparation file has kilograms per material and a row breakdown. For 2026 you also see the estimated fee for the light and detailed form. Use the file to fill in the report in the Rinki extranet.
