Your packaging report, prepared from purchase invoices.
PackTrack gathers your company's packaging materials and kilograms from invoices or a product list. You review the rows and get a file that makes the report in the Rinki extranet quick to fill in.
- For SPT customers (Rinki)
- €49 / year + VAT
- Both 2026 reporting periods
Reporting is mandatory, and the data is scattered
Packaging quantities have to be gathered from invoices, product lists and supplier data. Three things worth knowing:
Joining is mandatory
A packaging producer must join a producer organisation approved in the producer register (Waste Act section 62).

A penalty for neglect
If a producer does not join a producer organisation or apply to the producer register, the penalty payment is 1 % of the previous financial year's turnover, at least €500 and at most €500,000 (Waste Act sections 131–132).

EU packaging regulation
Regulation (EU) 2025/40 applies from 12 August 2026. 2026 data is therefore reviewed separately for 1 January–11 August and 12 August–31 December.
Ready in three steps
Import your data
Upload purchase invoices or a product list as CSV, Excel or text-based PDF. The sample file shows the columns.
Review materials and kilograms
PackTrack suggests a material for each row. You review and correct the rows; kilograms are calculated from quantities and unit weights.
Download the report preparation file
You get an Excel or CSV file with materials, kilograms and a row breakdown. You submit the report yourself in the Rinki extranet. The file is shaped for the Rinki report.
What PackTrack does
Materials row by row
Paper and board, plastic, metals, glass, wood and other. Packaging is recorded by its main material; parts of another material that separate easily by hand go on their own rows (Rinki's instructions).
Consumer and business packaging
Rows are split into consumer and business packaging, and 2026 data into the two reporting periods.
Fee estimate
Estimated fees for the light and detailed form side by side. The producer organisation sets the final fees.
For accountants
Several client companies under one login. Each company has its own annual plan at the same price as everyone else: €49 / year + VAT.

Does PackTrack submit the report for us?
No. PackTrack prepares your packaging data and produces a file that helps you fill in the report. You submit it yourself in the Rinki extranet (SPT customers). The file is shaped for the Rinki report; PackTrack does not produce a SumiOn-format file. PackTrack does not pay producer organisation fees either.
When must the 2026 packaging data be reported?
For SPT customers that report once a year the deadline is 31 January 2027 (Rinki, in Finnish). Sumi's annual reporters submit their 2026 kilograms by 31 January (Sumi, in Finnish). Check your own reporting cycle with your producer organisation.
Light or detailed form?
Producer organisations must allow simplified reporting for producers placing less than 50 tonnes of packaging on the market per year (Government Decree 1029/2021, section 19 a, in Finnish). Under Rinki's instructions the light form may be used below 50,000 kg per year, and the limit applies per contract: in a combined contract the quantities of all companies in it are added together. The detailed form can always be used, and the forms have separate price lists. The choice cannot be changed after the form is submitted. PackTrack shows the estimated fee for both (Rinki 2025 instructions, in Finnish).
Which files can I import?
CSV and Excel files and text-based PDF files (such as invoices). Scanned images are not read. The sample file shows which columns PackTrack recognises.
How much does PackTrack cost?
€49 per company per year, excluding VAT. Finnish companies pay 25.5 % VAT (€61.50 in total). There is no trial; import and preview are free.
Can I get my money back if the service isn't right for us?
14-day money-back guarantee: if the service isn't right for you, we refund your first payment in full when you ask within 14 days at contact@aigen.fi. The guarantee covers the company's first subscription, not renewals (Terms, section 6).
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time in billing management. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and exports keep working until then.
Do you sell to consumers?
No. PackTrack is for businesses in Finland and other EU countries. Outside Finland a valid VAT ID is required.
Is the material suggestion always right?
Not necessarily. It is a suggestion, and every row is reviewed before export. The reporting company is responsible for the data it reports.
Where is the data stored?
PackTrack is hosted and its data stored on EU servers (our hosting provider Replit). Other providers and their transfers are described on the subprocessors page. The providers we use are listed on the subprocessors page. See also the privacy notice.
Does the service support quarterly reporting?
Not yet. PackTrack prepares an annual report. According to Rinki, 2026 packaging data can also be reported quarterly (Rinki, in Finnish); quarterly reporters should split the rows into their periods themselves and check the deadlines with Rinki.
